Economía circular

Circular economy project with the Real Sociedad foundation

At Donosac, we developed and financed a circular economy project with the Real Sociedad foundation that consisted of making toilet bags out of the tarpaulins covering the stands at the Reale Arena when the fans could not go to the stadium.

During lockdown when football matches were played behind closed doors, Real Sociedad covered the Reale Arena stands with huge tarpaulins, decorated with Marrazketabar’s drawings of the fans and several collectives as a way of supporting the team.

Once the restrictions were eased, with help from the ‘Sin Desperdició’ initiative at Emaus, Donosac worked on converting these tarpaulins into 350 toilet bags, by financing the project. They were presented to doctors and nurses to thank them for their hard work during the health crisis.
